The Canterbury
Gold Coast Rugby Carnival (GCRC) is an annual gathering school
and club rugby players from around the world.
It is the largest and longest running
rugby event of its type in Australia and most of the clubs
and schools who attend are Carnival regulars.

This success is built on the traditional Rugby
qualities of:
• Competitiveness • Sportsmanship • Friendship
In 2008 an U14
Division will be added so that The Canterbury GCRC will
now be open to school and club teams in the Under 14,
Under 15, Under 16 and Under 18 age groups.
Since its
inception in 1993, over 700 clubs and schools from 10 countries
have attended the Gold Coast Rugby Carnival.
Most return time and again, rating
it a great rugby experience and excellent value for money.
In 2008 we are delighted to again
welcome Canterbury
as our event naming rights sponsor.
I extend a personal invitation to
all previous participants to attend the 2008 Canterbury GCRC
and also take this opportunity to invite others to come along
and experience the unique appeal of this great sporting event.
